Mail error problems

Just did a fresh Ganib install using war file; it seems to work fine except of these line in catalina.out:

DEBUG [LoginProcessing.jsp] Page Redirect requested: /ganib/business/createAccount.jsp?isEmailSent=false&module=160&portfolio=true&uid=95603 javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: Invalid credentials t5if4202633wiw.64 at com.sun.mail.imap.IMAPStore.protocolConnect( at javax.mail.Service.connect( at javax.mail.Service.connect( at com.ganib.soa.utility.BlogEmailFilter.openAccountWithImap( at com.ganib.soa.utility.BlogEmailFilter.filterMailAccount( at com.ganib.scheduler.BlogEmailFilterJob.execute( at at org.quartz.simpl.SimpleThreadPool$ java.lang.NullPointerException

I'm sure credentials are correct.

Also, made a tcpdump to find them and noticed application try to connect using IMAPS PROTOCOL to gmail account. That's weird, i never configured a gmail account in context.xml,

give please any suggestion.

Tks Gianni.

By looking at the error it seems you have installed Ganib 1.3 Please redownload the latest version again from Replace the war file in webapps folder and restart the tomcat.

In old version of Ganib, it tries to use the default gmail account to enable blog+email integration. That email addresses defaults to and hence you saw the invalid credentials error. If you are planning to use the Ganib with blog+email feature you can update the account in table PN_PROPERTY with key for email address as "" and for password ""
