Access denied to Manager Settings tab

Hello,
I have a Manager Profile but I get an access denied message when I want to access the Manager Settings tab (giving access to User Management et Document repository configuration).
Ganib ask me to request authorization to the Administrator. As I am the administrator, I receive a request for authorization by mail....that I validate, but still it doesn't give me access to the requested menu.

Usually this problem might occur whenever we are trying to access the application with mutiple logon's on same Browser,
Can you please check this again..after clearing the Browser cache and active log-ins
Please do let me know if your still facing the problem,

Hello,

I still have the problem even after clearing browser cache and active log-ins. I didn't specify that I have the problem on a local platform. Message as follow: alt text

To test and compare I have also created a Saas platform where I can see that on the top right where I can configure my profile / change my password, I have also a "Setting" field to access ManagerSettings tab.

I don't have the "Setting" field on my local Ganib platform while I'm flagged with a Manager Profile. Is that normal?

Please help.

Following you can see what is logged in the catalina.out file when I try to access the ManagerSettings tab:
2014-02-10 18:27:22,912 WARN  com.ganib.base.PnetRuntimeException - Failed security validation

I have also regularly this message in the catalina.out:
2014-02-10 18:27:00,330 ERROR com.ganib.soa.utility.BlogEmailFilter - Error to open aaccount with imap : Invalid credentials u10if7901946wiy.93

Do you think it is related to my problem ?

Thank you for the details that you provided.. we understood that you are trying to access the settings module from locally installed application.. which leads to the above error.
Right now settings page is not available for opensource version.. But we are going to provide this module to open source as well with *Ganib 2.3, Which is supposed to release in next three days.
Thanks,

Hello,
I have installed Ganib 2.3, but still I cannot access Settings Module.
Should it appear above "My Profile" menu like it is implemented in the SaaS version?

Anyway when I try also to access the URL http://localhost:8080/ganib/personal/ManagerSettings.jsp, it still gives me an "Access Denied" answer.
What should I do ?

You would need to Login with the credentials  from which you have created the Firs Account to view the settings tab, Only the Account or Domain owner can able to view the settings tab.. This has been designed for security reasons

If you are not able to view the settings tab means you are not logged in with the Account or Domain owner.. it wont be accessible with direct url injection

OK, I have created a new user that has the setting tab. And for next user I have the right signup page asking for security code.

I though that the setting tab would have been added to the first account that had been created on the applicaction, which is not the case.

Several suggestions regarding User Management:

1. Would it be possible to have the following process for sign-up:
     - User fill-in the signup page
     - Admin receives an email registration request and activate the account ?
     - User receives an email with security key & password for 1st connection ?

2. Would it be possible to give to the Admin account by default all the rights and the view on all the accounts / projects to have a full picture and be able to administrate the all application ?

3. Would it be possible to set a default role to a user on a User management Page? Because usually users have always the same roles.
